The article focused on a German court unveiling an Iranian plan to assassinate prominent Jewish figures and civilian targets in Germany, amid escalating tensions between Europe and Iran. Two defendants were sentenced to prison, one of whom is a Danish national of Afghan descent, after receiving instructions from elements connected to the Quds Force to carry out the assault plan. The scheme involved targeting political and religious figures, such as the head of the Central Council of Jews in Germany, with preparations for criminal acts like burning a Jewish store in Berlin. The case highlights the complexity of moving operations across multiple European countries and underscores security and diplomatic challenges, as Germany summoned the Iranian ambassador, and Tehran responded with unsubstantiated accusations. This incident indicates that the conflict with Iran extends beyond military confrontations to include internal, civilian-style attacks, emphasizing the need for European security cooperation to confront such threats.
