Trump's question to Zakaria before her departure
An article discusses Katie Zakaria's departure from her position as White House spokesperson after holding the role for only five days, at the request of President Donald Trump, who expressed a preference for her reconsidering her continuation. Trump emphasized that the decision was hers and that he would speak with her after returning from a trip to Georgia, portraying her as having been treated unfairly by the media. Zakaria previously served as a spokesperson for the Secretary of Homeland Security and appeared in conservative media. She faced criticism following her first press conference at the White House.
