Washington halts Patriot missile shipments to Ukraine
The US Secretary of Defense has ceased approving the transfer of Patriot missiles to Ukraine, despite Kyiv's urgent need for them to defend against Russian missile and drone attacks. This comes amid political pressures and disagreements within the Trump administration, where the Defense Secretary has not completed the necessary steps for approval. Washington retains control over the weapons it manufactures, while the military government continues to approve other aid packages. At the same time, reports reveal that Ukraine's stockpile of these missiles is now very limited.
