Arab League Secretary-General in South Lebanon
The Secretary-General of the Arab League, Nabil Fahmy, visited South Lebanon for the first time in the history of the organization, amid the ongoing Israeli escalation in the region and the occupation of numerous towns. During his visit, he inspected the Zahrani base operated by intervention forces and visited the Our Lady of Annunciation Church in Zawtar al-Gharbiya, accompanied by Minister of Social Affairs Haneen Saeed. This step comes as part of efforts to support stability and Arab initiatives in response to the crisis in the region.
