Explosives from Dahr al-Baidar to Judicial Council
The Lebanese Council of Ministers decided to refer the case of the explosive materials explosion that occurred in Zahr El-Baydar and in the Qasr area in Baalbek in October 2026 to the Judicial Council, aiming to strengthen the seriousness of the investigations and ensure their credibility. This measure by the government is considered an important step toward enhancing security and uncovering the truth about the incident, as investigations conducted within the Judicial Council framework are limited to specific felony cases and are final decisions. This move aims to reinforce resolution in the case and ensure transparency and justice in the judicial pursuit.
