Iranian Guard reports damage to seven ships
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced that seven ships, including three that were in violation, were struck after colliding with a sea mine west of the Strait of Hormuz, causing fires on board and leading to other incidents in the area. The Guard also warned the United States that continuing its approach in the Strait of Hormuz could lead to a broader escalation of the confrontation, increasing the likelihood of accidents and threats to its bases in the region.
