Civil Impact Forum Warns of State Fragility
The Civil Impact Forum affirms that nation-building in Lebanon has become a structural crisis that threatens its sovereignty and unity. It warns that non-constitutional arrangements and fragility are transforming Lebanon from an independent decision-making country into a battleground for external conflicts. The forum calls for adopting positive neutrality to safeguard national decision-making, reactivating institutions, and implementing necessary reforms. It emphasizes the importance of maintaining the exclusive legitimacy of authority in setting foreign policies and fostering balanced relations with Arab countries and the international community. Additionally, it stresses that continuing the current situation could lead to economic and political disintegration. Rescue begins with a clear national decision that ensures sovereignty and strengthens the role of institutions.
