Lebanon Holds Government Session on Explosives Files
The current government session in Lebanon is discussing the issue of explosives confiscated in Zahle–El Bireh. Opinions are divided between those calling for its immediate referral to the Court of Justice and those preferring to wait for the results of the investigations before making a final decision. The Minister of Justice proposed sending the case to the Court of Justice, citing previous similar cases that support his stance, while security officials emphasize that the threats and control over the shipment necessitate urgent legal measures, as investigations into the matter continue.
