Lebanese Concern Over Rising War Tensions
Lebanon is experiencing increasing concern over the escalating risks of regional war, especially with the possibility of intensifying the conflict between Iran and Israel, and the potential involvement of Hezbollah in the confrontation. The details of the final decision remain unclear, with officials worried about the potential outbreak of a comprehensive war that could impact Lebanon, particularly given the country's limited military and humanitarian capacity. Hezbollah has remained silent on the matter but is preparing militarily and humanitarianly in anticipation of any escalation. It is also noted that they have received Iranian directives to raise their level of readiness. Meanwhile, the civilian population is facing another wave of displacement and displacement fears amid concerns over renewed clashes, with ongoing shelter centers and rising anxiety over continued military threats.
