Chadian Prisoners Handed Over to Joint Force

On June 28, the Libyan General Command handed over 275 Chadian prisoners to the Libyan-Chadian Joint Forces as part of security operations to strengthen control over the border areas with Chad and Niger. The command continues to ramp up its military operations in Fezzan, including arrest campaigns and pursuits targeting Tebu leader Muhammad Wardogo, with the aim of controlling the movement of goods and crossings along the resource-rich border strip, particularly gold, and enhancing influence in the border regions.
