Macron observes missile test confirms France's deterrence
France successfully conducted a test of its new ballistic missile in the "M51.3" class, launched from the "Le Vigilant" submarine off the coast of Brittany. The test affirms the effectiveness of France's nuclear deterrent force. The missile, capable of carrying nuclear warheads, fell into the North Atlantic Ocean hundreds of kilometers from the coast, without carrying a warhead during the test, in accordance with international standards. President Emmanuel Macron stated that this success bolsters confidence in the continuity and efficiency of the French nuclear deterrent system and underscores France's ability to protect its interests amidst increasing security challenges.
