Moroccan cities lead social aid requests
The Social Support Agency report highlights the distribution of beneficiaries of the support system across different regions, with Marrakech-Safi and Fès-Meknès accounting for a significant proportion. It also reveals disparities in the types of assistance provided among the regions. The acceptance rate of applications saw a substantial increase from 45.5% in December 2023 to 91.9% at the end of 2025, due to improved understanding of eligibility criteria. However, more than 60% of rejection cases are due to changes in the social and economic status of the families.
