The article details the "Yobos" application launched by the Ministry of Finance and Planning, aimed at enabling public sector employees to use part of their entitlements to pay for essential services such as electricity, water, and telecommunications without deducting from their salaries or imposing commissions. The article explains that the application has successfully completed its pilot phase, involving over 57,000 employees, with more than 225,000 transactions totaling over 19 million shekels. It also emphasizes that the service depends on the employee's financial entitlements and provides security procedures to protect data, while facing challenges related to technical support and connecting with local entities, which vary in technological readiness. The report states that the app aims to improve transparency, preserve employee dignity, and expand its services in the future to include groceries and fuel, with a focus on no salary deductions or commissions, and the ease of paying family members' bills, prioritizing integration with some municipalities like Tulkarm and Hebron. Upcoming updates will include vehicle licensing and traffic violation services, along with measures to enhance transparency regarding entitlements and protect them from rumors or misunderstandings.
