The Land Authority announced a suspension of approximately 39 settlement blocks during August, covering an area of about 7,922 dunams. These are distributed across the governorates of Hebron, Qalqilya, Nablus, Salfit, Tulkarm, Bethlehem, and Tubas. The suspension of rights schedules allows citizens and interested parties to review them and submit objections within the legal timeframe, with the aim of finalizing the verification of land ownership and issuing registration deeds. Officials emphasize that this measure represents an important step toward converting fieldwork into documented property rights, while safeguarding citizens’ rights and ensuring the swift completion of settlement procedures.
