Netanyahu says co-pilot faced radicalization
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the attacking co-pilot on the flight operated by Flydubai had undergone "Islamist radical ideological conditioning" and intended to destroy the aircraft, attempting to kill the crew and passengers. The plane, carrying 174 passengers including 166 Israelis, was forced to make an emergency landing at a Saudi airport following a fight inside the cockpit. Investigations are still ongoing, while Emirati authorities are examining the incident. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia rejected any landing of Israeli aircraft to evacuate stranded passengers, reaffirming that normalization cannot be imposed.
