Arab League Alerts on Houthi Threats
The Arab League condemns the Houthi group’s targeting of civilian and economic facilities in Saudi Arabia, as well as their attacks on commercial ships in the Red Sea, which threaten international maritime security. It emphasized that these acts constitute a serious threat to regional security and violate international laws and UN Security Council resolutions. The League called on the international community to take action to hold the perpetrators accountable. It also affirmed that the stability and security of Saudi Arabia are fundamental to Arab regional security, and that Houthi escalation increases tensions and jeopardizes regional peace.
