The article focused on launching the "Educate Everyone" Foundation's global campaign in celebration of International Day to Protect Education from Attacks. The campaign aims to raise worldwide awareness about the rising violations faced by schools and learning environments in conflict zones. It features a "Crosswalk" display in Paris and Geneva, which transforms pedestrian crossing lines into a timeline illustrating the increase in attacks on schools since 2024, complemented by interactive icons and informational messages. Reports indicate that at least 9,259 attacks on education have occurred over the past year and a half, resulting in the harm of over 10,600 individuals working in the education sector. The use of schools for military purposes has risen to nearly 2,100 cases, especially in countries such as Colombia, Ethiopia, Palestine, and Ukraine. The campaign emphasizes that protecting education requires proactive preparedness and the cessation of targeting schools and educators. It affirms that education is a fundamental right and a critical driver of protection and stability for communities affected by conflict.
