Al-Bahri profits rise 574% in Q2
The National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia "Bahri" announced a 574.1% increase in its net profits during the second quarter of 2026, reaching 2.75 billion riyals compared to 407.5 million riyals in the same period last year. This improvement is attributed to a 2.1 billion riyal increase in gross profit, driven by better operational performance and higher global shipping rates across its sectors. Additionally, capital gains from the sale of a vessel, increased profits from the company's investments in associate companies, improved other income, and reduced financing expenses contributed to the strong financial results. Profits also rose by 27.8% on a quarterly basis.
