Bahrain Condemns Saudi Oil Attacks
The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the repeated terrorist attempts to target oil installations in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, carried out by militias affiliated with Iran using unmanned aerial vehicles launched from Iraqi territory. Bahrain confirmed its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and support for any measures it takes to protect its sovereignty. The statement also praised the efficiency of the Saudi air defenses in intercepting and destroying these drones. Additionally, Bahrain urged Iraq and Iran to refrain from supporting armed militias and to cease hostile activities. The government called on the international community, especially the Security Council, to issue a resolution condemning these attacks and to hold Iran and its proxies accountable to prevent further assaults, in order to maintain regional security, energy supply stability, and international navigation safety.
