15-Day Limit for Port Fee Exemptions
The General Authority of Ports has launched an electronic service for submitting requests for exemption from land storage fees through the Ports Community System (PCS). This aims to streamline procedures and reduce the need for in-person visits. The exemption request must be submitted within 15 days of the invoice issuance, along with the necessary supporting documents to ensure a swift review of the application. Any delay beyond the specified deadline will not be accepted. This step is part of the ongoing efforts to develop digital services for Saudi ports, with the goal of enhancing the beneficiary experience and speeding up transaction processing.
