Gold nears strongest weekly rise since January
Gold prices rose during the week, achieving their largest gains since January, supported by falling oil prices and expectations that the Middle East conflict will end. This has led to a decrease in inflation expectations and increased appeal as a hedge. The price of an ounce reached $4,262.39, an increase of 0.6% for the day. The analyst confirmed that the $4,000 level represents strong support, with potential predictions of rising to $4,600 despite fluctuations in the upcoming US jobs report. Other precious metals also saw gains, with silver and platinum approaching weekly increases.
