The Saudi Volleyball Federation has adopted a new regulation for the participation of indoor and beach volleyball players for the 2026-2027 season. The aim is to enhance technical specialization, expand the participation base, and develop beach players, while maintaining the involvement of indoor players. The regulation covers both men's and Under-19 youth categories, featuring Team A, which specializes exclusively in beach volleyball and is registered solely within the beach volleyball pathway, and Team B, an open team consisting of players who also compete in indoor volleyball. A Team A must be registered before Team B can be registered. The season will include four main rounds held in Riyadh, Khobar, and Jeddah. The results of these rounds will determine the top 8 teams qualifying for the Elite Championship in March 2027. Additionally, open rounds will be held to increase outreach and discover new talents.
