Abha Halt Their Losses
Abha ended their losing streak with a 1–1 draw against Al-Ittihad in Round 12 of the Saudi Pro League, despite missing several key players. They had five shots on target, compared with three for Al-Ittihad. The draw gave the team a morale boost, and the influence of Croatian coach Tio Perica—who took charge just two days before the match—was evident in their defensive organization and tactical discipline. It was the first draw between the teams in 13 meetings. Abha moved to three points from 11 matches but remained bottom of the table, eight points from climbing out of the relegation zone.
