Reasons behind the absence of major deals in the union
The article discusses the absence of major deals at Al-Ittihad Club despite having sufficient financial resources. Media personality Fares Al-Fazzi explained that the club doesn't just need to make a couple of signings to fill some positions; rather, it requires several high-caliber deals that match the club's ambitions to compete for titles. He pointed out that the departure of high-salary players and the sale of contracts have contributed to providing liquidity, along with seasonal allocations and sponsorship revenues. However, he questioned how these resources are being effectively invested to support the team and enhance its competitive ability. He emphasized that the club management's decisions do not match the ambitions of Al-Ittihad's fans, who expect a team that reflects the club's history and reputation. He made clear that the limited moves in the transfer market do not fulfill those expectations.
