Salem Starts Recovery After Bench
Salem Al-Dawsari, the captain of Al-Hilal, is set to make his return in the upcoming match against Al-Ittihad in the eighth round of the Roshen Saudi League after a long absence since May 2026 due to a knee tendon injury, which required surgery in July. His participation in the next Saudi Classic will depend on the decision of coach Simone Inzaghi, after he completed his rehabilitation program and participated in team training sessions. It is expected that he will return to play during the preparation phase for the Asia Cup, which will be hosted by Saudi Arabia starting January 7.
