Gaspirini's anger and Malin's dismissal highlight first Serie A draw
The Serie A match between Roma and Como ended in a goalless draw despite Roma being reduced to ten men after the dismissal of forward Doniel Malin in the 53rd minute, following a tackle on Como's player, which sparked controversy over whether the decision was correct. Roma's coach, Gian Piero Gasperini, criticized the red card, asserting that the tackle was not violent and that the player had been fouled before the incident. Conversely, Como's coach, Sisco Fabbregas, considered the red card justified and believed that the incident warranted a straight red. Both coaches expressed regret that their teams did not capitalize on their numerical advantage, with Gasperini praising Dybala's performance and Fabbregas emphasizing the importance of bravery when facing top teams. This match marked the first goalless draw of the season in Serie A after 53 goal-scoring games.
