Fernandes Criticizes Carrick Tactics
Under Michael Carrick's management, Manchester United suffered an embarrassing 4-1 defeat to Como in the Champions League, extending their winless streak to seven consecutive matches across all competitions. Bruno Fernandes criticized the team's tactical approach, warning of weak pressing and emphasizing the need to adopt boldness and risk-taking in play, confirming that the failure to implement individual pressure gave opponents confidence and control. Carrick apologized to the fans for the underwhelming performance, pointing to a lack of enthusiasm and fighting spirit, and stating that the team needs to correct technical errors before the upcoming Premier League match against Bournemouth.
