Abde outshines Barcelona
Moroccan Abde Ezzalzouli is shining for Real Betis and has become one of the team’s standout players thanks to his individual skill and defensive contribution. Betis have taken nine points from their first three Champions League matches. *Mundo Deportivo* believes Ezzalzouli is individually better than Karim Adeyemi and Anthony Gordon, despite Newcastle having paid more than €70 million to sign Gordon and Adeyemi having moved for €24 million. Barcelona sold Ezzalzouli to Betis for €7.5 million. If his €60 million release clause is activated, Barcelona would receive only €12 million, based on its 20% share of any sale.
