Wegovy tablets close to German pharmacies

Novo Nordisk is approaching the launch of an oral version of the well-known Wegovy weight loss medication in Europe and Germany, after the European Medicines Agency recommended approval of its tablet formulation. The European Commission is expected to make its final decision by July 2026, and if approved, the pills will become available during the summer or the second half of 2026 for patients with obesity related to conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure, as an alternative to the current weekly injections.
