Jericho launches street cleanup campaign
The Jericho City Council launched an initiative titled "We Want to Walk on the Sidewalk and Keep the City Clean," aimed at organizing sidewalks and improving the city's cleanliness. This initiative comes in conjunction with a plan for road recovery and rehabilitation. It includes addressing sidewalk obstructions, reducing violations on public property, and promoting a culture of respecting public space through meetings with civil society and shop owners. The goal is to reorganize the urban environment, enhance the city's appearance, and encourage community participation in maintaining cleanliness and organizing the streets.
