Homs rural area recovers services
The town of Makassar Al-Hissan in the eastern countryside of Homs is working on rehabilitating its basic services after significant destruction during the years of war. The sewage system has been repaired, and water and electricity supply have been improved. Despite progress in some areas, the streets still need repairs and paving. Rebuilding the damaged homes remains a priority to encourage residents to return and to restore economic and social activity in the area. Infrastructure projects are still waiting for full implementation to support stability and recovery.
