Homs Eastern Countryside Horse Leg Incident and Recovery
The town of Makhar al-Hissan in the eastern countryside of Homs is working to restore its basic services after extensive destruction during the years of war. The sewage and water networks have been mainly rehabilitated, although the town’s streets still require paving and repairs. The area saw the destruction of around 150 homes, and the current priority is to rebuild the damaged dwellings to promote the return and stability of residents. Efforts are also ongoing to improve the electrical network and infrastructure to support economic and social development.
