Foreign Ministry probes diplomatic document leak
The Syrian Foreign Ministry is investigating an alleged leak of a large number of diplomatic documents, amounting to approximately 19 to 20 gigabytes of data. This data includes hundreds of files in PDF and Excel formats, containing official correspondence, reports, legal documents, and financial and administrative records. Reports indicate that some of these documents may be outdated or forged, while it is believed that part of the leaked data originates from files previously used during the former regime's rule or extracted from employees' devices. Authorities continue their investigations to determine the source and mechanisms of the leak, while reaffirming that their work is proceeding normally and that they will take the necessary legal measures to ensure information security.
