Samsung to update Galaxy S27 Ultra
Samsung is testing larger battery options for the Galaxy S27 Ultra, with leaks indicating capacities of up to 5600mAh and 5800mAh. The goal is to improve battery life compared to previous models, which featured 5000mAh batteries in the Ultra series, driven by market competition and user demand. The batteries being tested by the company rely on traditional lithium-ion technology from Samsung SDI, aimed at enhancing safety and reducing costs. The final capacity has yet to be determined before the phone's release. A larger capacity could lead to longer usage times and reduce the need for frequent charging. Additional updates are expected, such as a new camera island design and enhanced privacy protection features.
