China starts construction of the world's first hotel fully operated by robots
Chinese company Pudu Robotics is preparing to launch the world's first hotel entirely operated by robots and embodied artificial intelligence. The robots will handle most hotel services, from reception and check-in to room service, delivery, and cleaning. The project is located in the Guangdong Bay area and aims to create a hotel environment based on a unified system of robots that share information and operate as an integrated team, utilizing advanced AI technologies that enable them to understand the environment and make independent decisions. The hotel's trial operation is expected to begin by the end of this year, with ongoing expansions planned through 2030.
