Vivo and iQOO phones will not receive Android 17 update with OriginOS 7 interface
Mobile phone companies are preparing to roll out the Android 17 update after the stable version was released on Google Pixel phones. Additionally, Vivo has launched OriginOS 7, which features design improvements, enhanced performance, and new functionalities. However, many Vivo and iQOO devices will not receive the major update because they have reached the end of their supported update cycle. The list includes models such as the Vivo X90 series, Vivo Y200, as well as the iQOO Z9 and Z9s. Vivo plans to release OriginOS 7 globally during October, with support for up to five updates for recent models like the Vivo X300 and iQOO 15.
