Morocco-Senegal Final Before CAS
The Swiss Sports Arbitration Court ("TAS") in Lausanne will hear an appeal on October 8th by the Senegalese Football Federation against the CAF ("Confederation of African Football") decision regarding the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final between Morocco and Senegal. The case stems from protests by Senegalese players during the match, which ended with Senegal's victory after over 15 minutes of stoppage, and the acceptance of Morocco's 3-0 win. This decision has been challenged by the Senegalese side. The session will be held behind closed doors, with representatives from both parties in attendance, and will be deliberated by a three-member arbitration panel led by Frenchman Gérald Simon. The final ruling will be suspended until a later decision is issued.
