FIFA issues new penalty to Premier League club
In October 2026, Club Sportif Sfaxien was sanctioned by the International Federation of Football (FIFA) with a transfer ban due to two disputes involving former players Adam Belamine and Wodahi Sghari, who joined the team in the 2023-2024 season. lifting the sanction requires settling both cases through a financial payment estimated at around 500,000 Tunisian dinars. This presents a challenge for the club's management, which is seeking to resolve these disputes' debts and officially close the cases to resume normal transfer activities. Preparing for the current season makes resolving this issue a top priority for the club's future management.
