Najm Al-Metloui Faces Financial Crisis
Mass protests took place in Metlouli in front of the governorate headquarters due to the financial crisis facing the Etoile Sportive du Metlouli club. Financial grants have been halted since November 2025, threatening the team's ability to stay committed and maintain ongoing participation in sports activities. The protesters called for urgent intervention from authorities and the Gafsa Phosphate Company to settle the outstanding financial dues, warning that continued crisis could negatively impact the club's future and its sporting activities.
