Kairouan ramping up road repairs and safety
The regional administration of Equipment and Housing in Kairouan is focusing its efforts on intensifying road maintenance and improving traffic safety. This includes installing solar-powered street lighting on national and regional roads, placing traffic signs at intersections, and surveying water drainage systems as well as cleaning around educational institutions. The work also involves repairing sidewalks and painting speed bumps between various kilometer markers, all aimed at enhancing road conditions and strengthening safety measures for users. These efforts continue as part of a plan to improve transportation conditions and reduce road accidents in the area.
