Prisoners Manage Large Al-Marfaq Fire
Firefighting teams, including workers from the construction sites, the Sijian Forest Protection Center, and civil protection personnel, managed to relatively control a large blaze that erupted in the Marifek Forest in the Sijian district. The fire destroyed a wide area of Aleppo pine, Kallatos trees, and small plants. The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time. It initially broke out at the end of last week and led to significant destruction of the forest, while efforts are still ongoing to fully contain it.
