Anniversary of October 7th marks Gaza bombing casualties
On Wednesday, the Gaza Strip witnessed the martyrdom of two Palestinians, one of whom was a volunteer in the Civil Defense, due to an Israeli airstrike in the northern part of the sector. This coincided with the third anniversary of the October 7 attacks, which led to an escalation of the war in Gaza. Civil Defense reported that the martyr is volunteer Mohamed Tamos, who died after arriving at the hospital as a result of the shelling near the destroyed Kamel Adwan Hospital. The sector also experienced artillery shelling and gunfire from Israeli forces in multiple areas in the south and east of Gaza, causing the destruction of homes and injuries, despite a year having passed since the ceasefire agreement. The ceasefire has not prevented Israel from continuing air, sea, and land strikes, which have resulted in the deaths of more than 1,460 Palestinians since October 2025.
