Reuters Turkey assists Saudi in Houthis' fight
Turkey is providing military and technical support to Saudi Arabia in its confrontation with the Houthi movement in Yemen, as part of the Mecca Agreement for Collective Defense signed with Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. This move comes amid widespread military escalation in Yemen, where the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council launched the "Fajr Yemen" operation to recapture Sanaa, and the Houthis are conducting missile and drone attacks on Saudi territory. The three countries are working to expand their alliance and military arrangements, with Ankara considering establishing a military base in Saudi Arabia to support joint defense efforts.
