In the city of Kairouan, an awareness and informational campaign was organized to empower women in rural areas. The campaign targeted 1,400 women from Kairouan and Jendouba Governorates, with the aim of highlighting the challenges faced by women working in the agricultural sector and promoting their presence in development policies. The campaign, which includes direct meetings featuring journalists and rural women, seeks to share their experiences and influence decision-makers. It is part of the "Accelerating Progress Toward Economic Empowerment for Rural Women" program, in collaboration with United Nations agencies. The activities are scheduled from October 12 to October 27.
