Regional library inauguration in Monastir
The regional library in Monastir was inaugurated after the completion of renovation and modernization work, with the aim of enhancing its role in the cultural and educational scene in the area and improving the experience for visitors. The updates include dedicating the basement to children and adolescents, and the upper floor to two main reading halls for youth and adults. Additionally, the library’s collection of documents has been inventoried to better organize it. Situated in an environment surrounded by over 17 educational institutions, the library houses more than 60,000 books distributed across four sections. It serves as an important knowledge center targeting students and researchers. The new spaces are expected to increase readership and strengthen the institution’s cultural and educational contributions.
