Israeli group sets up Gaza border outpost
Reports indicated that an Israeli settlement movement announced the establishment of a new settlement outpost near the Gaza Strip border, claiming that the area is an integral part of the Land of Israel. During the operation, carried out at night and endorsed by leaders of the ruling party, more than 700 people participated, including bereaved families and wounded soldiers. Structures were built close to the security fence facing the city of Gaza. The movement is urging the government to relocate the settlement to the northern buffer zone, considering that settlement is the only way to strengthen power and achieve a "New Middle East." They emphasize that this step aligns with the goal of controlling land and ongoing settlement activities. The "Nahala" movement was founded in 2005 and advocates for the displacement of Palestinians and the establishment of settlements as part of settlement plans aimed at consolidating Israeli control over the region.
