Nabeul sailor rescued near Italy
Units of the Nabeul Coastal Guard, in coordination with Italian authorities, managed to rescue a Tunisian sailor stranded off the Italian coast after his vessel suffered mechanical failure days ago. The sailor, from Nabeul Governorate, had departed aboard a fishing boat with a group of fishermen when the engine failure occurred, leaving him approximately 20 miles from the Italian coast. He was retrieved from the vessel via a tugboat and transported to the port of "Cesa." He will be returned to Tunisia after repairs are completed, and he remains in good health despite the poor weather conditions.
