Saudi Arabia intercepts 5 drones in Medina and Eastern Province
The Saudi Ministry of Defense, through its Air Force, intercepted five drones launched toward the Kingdom, including drones in the Madinah region. The Ministry's Spokesperson, Turki Al-Malki, announced that four drones were intercepted and destroyed in the Eastern Province and the Madinah region, while another drone was later intercepted in the Eastern Province, with no details provided about the source of the launch. These operations come after the Houthis escalated their attacks on Saudi Arabia, including strikes on Riyadh Airport that resulted in 13 deaths and hundreds of injuries, marking the most intense attack on the Kingdom in over a decade.
