DataCiteUAE coalition meets at National Archive
The UAE National Archive and Library organized the first meeting of DataCiteUAE alliance members to promote communication and the exchange of expertise among research and academic institutions in the country. The gathering focused on developing the research output management system, particularly through the implementation of permanent digital object identifiers (DOIs), which ensure the protection and continued access to scientific and informational resources. Currently, the alliance includes seven members, with the aim of expanding the number of participating institutions and enhancing the global presence of Emirati research outputs by improving the quality and management methods of data and knowledge.
