Sudanese Co-Pilot and Drugs at Cairo Airport
A Sudanese flight assistant was arrested at Cairo Airport before boarding a plane headed to Port Sudan, after authorities found him in possession of ice drug and drug paraphernalia. The suspect, who works for a Sudanese airline, attempted to hide the drugs by disguising himself in his official uniform and wearing work attire, believing this would help him bypass security checks. During the investigation, he admitted that he was carrying the drugs for personal use and not for trafficking. He was referred to the public prosecutor to proceed with legal procedures.
